Keep Saturday the 30th of August open in your calendar – you are invited to the ASA’s next Chew & Chat;
An informal meeting of scale modellers to discuss scale RC models, building, detailing and flying techniques.
Bring along a model to show-off or get advice on. Bring something to fly and bring your hunger to enjoy a lunch with us.
A number of people who will be judging at the 2025 Scale Nationals in October will be present – this is your chance to get some advice on your model, documentation and have them assist with your flying.
We intend to live stream the event for those not in Melbourne.
The agenda for the day is:
9am – Commence
11am – ASA AGM
Noon(ish) – lunch
1pm – Finish (no more power flying – Glider timeslot begins)
The VARMS club has graciously agreed to host this event at their superb field in Rowville. Their field will still be available to their power fliers during our event.
The VARMS clubhouse and field is accessed via the left Southbound lane of Stud Rd into the Rowville Recreation Reserve as shown by the attached pictures. If required, overflow parking is available at the Rowville Recreation Reserve Oval 2 car park, a short walk south to the new club facilities.
